Popular biking trails include Bearskin, Lumberjack, Madeline Lake, McNaughton, Plum Lake (paved), and Raven Trails.
Bearskin is possibly the most popular trail in the area. The trail is an old grade featuring a train shack from 1888. It winds through dense hardwood and pine forests, near a number of lakes and follows the winding course of the Bearskin Creek. The trailhead is at the scenic trestle bridge in downtown Minocqua and the trail runs 18 miles south to Harshaw, where it meets up with Hiawatha trail. The Bearskin is moderate in difficulty and has a crushed red granite surface.
Plum Lake Trail is a new paved bike trail that runs between Sayner and Crystal Lakes. You'll cross Plum Creek and ride along Plum Lake, which is a deep, clear lake known for a large number of Musky. This trail is four miles long and starts at the intersection of County N & Hwy 155. It then continues west along County N.
