If you’re hungry and you’re in the north woods, you better head to Paul Bunyan’s Cook Shanty. Built in 1961, Paul Bunyan’s in Minocqua has been a tradition in the north woods for 50 years. Owned and operated by the Tonne family, Paul Bunyan’s is a family-friendly restaurant and gift shop with locations in Minocqua and Wisconsin Dells.

Paul Bunyan’s Famous Camp Breakfast starts at 7 AM, runs until noon every day and is guaranteed to get your day off to great start. From homemade donuts to pancakes, eggs and bacon, everything is served family-style and is all-you-can-eat.

Paul Bunyan’s lunch platters include sandwiches, salads, and platters. Dinners are also famous as well as delicious. They include BBQ ribs and camp fried chicken, beef pot roast, pork chops, and of course a popular Friday fish, chicken and spaghetti blast.
