Featured Story
Dive into the Waters of Minocqua, Wisconsin.
Swim the Waters of Wisconsin

Swimming is a great way to get outside during the warm summer months when you visit the Lakeland area of Minocqua, Woodruff and Arbor Vitae. With thousands of freshwater lakes in the north woods, you could visit a different lake each day.

Many area lakes have sandy beaches where you can relax, soak up the sun, have a picnic lunch, and play in the water. Some of the local resorts offer swimming pools in addition to lake access if clear aquamarine water and lounge chairs are more your style. Some hotels and resorts even offer heated indoor pools, making swimming an option even in the colder months.

And if you’re really looking for a water adventure any time of year, check out the Waters of Minocqua.

The Waters of Minocqua is a popular choice for families because it offers a 10,000 square-foot indoor water park and use of the indoor water park is free for hotel guests. The tropical enclosed water park is a thrill for kids of all ages any time of year and is a great place to host a birthday party or other celebration. Features include an indoor-outdoor pool, a kiddie pool, indoor-outdoor hot tub, and two completely enclosed body slides.
