See the wild at Wildwood Wildlife Park and Zoo

The Wildwood Wildlife Park is the only zoo in the north woods. Wildwood is home to over 500 animals and birds including wolf, black bear, elk, bobcat, buffalo, deer, mountain lion, tiger, wallaby, coatimundi, emu, ring-tailed lemur, African spurred tortoise, eagle, birds of the world, and much more.

Wildwood is a great place to spend the day or host a birthday party. A number of party packages are available and include zoo entry, a kid’s happy meal, an ice cream treat, an educational program, and a special gift for each child. The park also holds a special Zoo Boo event each October with trick or treating and a costume contest.

In the Animal Encounters area, guests have the chance to meet some of the lovable zoo residents, capture their playful antics on film, and help with feeding time. Animal Encounters is complete with nursery babies, bottle feeding, hand feeding of pigs, goats & sheep, touch a tortoise, cuddle a bunny, and pet a porcupine.

Wildwood offers discovery programs where visitors can explore various mammals, birds, reptiles and primates and learn about diet, habitat, and behavior. Wildwood also offers adventure boats, catch your own trout, Indy 500 pedal karts, and a safari train.

The park also features a trout pond, musky pond, nature boardwalk, an exotic bird display, the Wild Den gift shop, an "Explore & Learn" area, easily walked landscaped trails, an otter colony with pools & slides, and a beaver pond. There are also picnic areas, a snack stand and wagon rentals.

The Wildwood Wildlife Park is open daily from May 1st through October each year. Entry fees are reasonable and park staff members are friendly and helpful.
